The form of this paper sculpture was inspired by the Tantric “yantra”, a meditational device which is usually purely geometric. My yantra is organic. In metaphysical terms a yantra is visualized as receptacle of the highest spiritual essence. This piece is represents a person in the center to which all good things are flowing. Some of the shapes are clearly defined, others are still forming.
