This canvas had been scraped from a previous paint out but salvaged with his little study of a Coyote bush. This bush is alongside the muddy trail up to the peak of Hunter’s Point in the Fremont Older Open Space Preserve in Santa Clara Valley. This is old farmland with beautiful rolling hills and many trails.
