This tree is one of only a handful of dying trees left in an ancient orchard high on the rolling hills of Fremont Older preserve above Santa Clara Valley. It is clear and silent in this place with stunning views to the south where lies San Jose and Coyote Valley, to the east and the Diablo range, and to the north and San Francisco Bay.
