In the distance to the right and beyond the water stand Point Lobos in this scene of the meadow or marshland of Mission Ranch in Carmel. The old wagon looks as if it was parked there a century ago and is gradually being absorbed by the marsh. These small trees are a favorite resting place for grazing sheep.
