Along the southwestern shores of San Francisco Bay there are wetlands and shallow bays. The Mountain View Shoreline park preserves some of this area. This scene, near one of the shallow bays at high tide, shows Mission Peak to the east. As I was signing this painting on location the first drops of rain began to fall.
